Staff at Trinity

The Rev. David A Stout | The Rev. Gail Bennett | Diane Caruso | The Rev. Tom Conway | Ms. Jill Osis | The Rev. Mary Frances Schjongberg

Father David was called as rector in August, 2004. Previously, he served as associate rector at St. Paul's, a pastoral-size church in the historic sea-side town of Beaufort, North Carolina and at the corporate-size congregation of St. Bartholomew's in the heart of mid-town Manhattan. Although the settings of these two churches were vastly different, the heartening vision which guides his ministry has remained the same: to help people come to know that they are loved and they are not alone.
He believes the Episcopal way of living out the Christian tradition offers a spirituality and worship that many people are seeking, but have yet to experience. His desire is to spread the good news of God's grace by reaching out to the greater community and to build upon Trinity's mission to be a welcoming, inclusive parish. As well as worship being friendly and accessible to all people, especially children, he believes worship should be joyful, encourage people in their daily life and send the congregation out lifted up to meet the week ahead.
