Welcome to Trinity! Consider this website an introduction to who we are, what we believe and ways to connect with our parish family. As you read through its pages, you'll find material about prayer, worship, fellowship and service, all of which are meant to help you explore developing a deeper spiritual life. We are a community of believers and seekers that works hard at being especially sensitive to the newcomer as well as caring for one another. If something here catches your eye, we hope you will take the next step and contact or visit us.
Grace & peace,
David Stout, Rector

Thank you everyone who filled out our online survey sent out via our weekly parish email newsletter. We are taking seriously all the wonderful comments and suggestions. One decision we were able to make now is what time should the Eucharist (Mass) be offered. 5 PM was the choice based on the the highest percentage of votes.
The service will lead into our Beach Mass for the months of July & August held in front of Asbury Tower (northern most part of Asbury's beach). Note that the Beach Mass will be at 5 PM this year.
No decision is made on whether we will then continue the service in September at the church. We'll wait, see and pray for now.
If you are not receiving the email newsletter, sign up by clicking here. It is becoming the main way we are keeping the parish informed.
Trinty has enjoyed a wonderful partnership with Hope Charter School (HSC) who has rented our school wing space the past 4 years. HSC has found a building which will house all their K-8 grades. This has been a dream of theirs for some time. We celebrate this new chapter in their life, but are sad to see them leave. We will continue our relationship of ways we can work together to better the lives of Asbury's youth. HSC's lease will come to an end on June 30th of this year.
Approximately 8000 square feet is available to rent to a Not-For-Profit entity. Ideally configured for a pre-school, charter school, or day care facility, it includes several classrooms and a full gymnasium/auditorium with stage. Off-street parking spaces are included for the hours of operation. Many options are available and negotiable, including additional space.

What does the bible say about homosexuality? "For the Bible Tells Me So" offers the experiences of five very normal, very Christian, very American families -- including those of former House Majority Leader Richard Gephardt and Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson -- show how insightful people of faith handle the realization of having a gay child. You'll also hear from Bishop Desmond Tutu, Harvard's Peter Gomes, Orthodox Rabbi Steve Greenberg and Reverend Jimmy Creech in the film, which hopes to offer healing, clarity and understanding to anyone standing at the intersection of Scripture and sexual identity. All are welcome. A free-will offering to help defray the cost of the movie viewing rights will be taken. Find out all the details by clicking here.
Carolyn Moorhead, Dwight Taylor and Fr. Tom Conway are going to offer a small group series at Seabrook on alternate Tuesdays. The title of the series is “Growing Older, a time to celebrate life.? The six individual sessions are: Faith Journey, Never Too Old, The Power of Blessing, Leaving a Legacy, Looking Back and Looking Ahead.
Each 90-minute session will start with a brief study of a particular passage from scripture and then we will discuss our own experiences in relation to that passage. When studied this way, the Bible comes to life and speaks directly to how we live now.
If you would like to join us in this adventure, please leave a message for Father Tom Conway with the parish office or at SmallGroups@TrinityNJ.com. You do not have to be a resident of Seabrook to participate. Meeting time will be early afternoons.
For more information or to sign up, please email: SmallGroups@TrinityNJ.com

We are asking folks to make a commitment for a month at a time. There is a covenant to be signed and a simple structure that allows people the opportunity to make this a part of their personal prayer life for a reasonable block of time. One is welcome to take as many months as they feel they are able. You can look at copy of the covenant ahead of time via our parish website on the Prayer Group Page.
