Here’s What’s Happening at Trinity!

Sunday Lenten Adult Forum: Stations of the Cross ~ 9am Beginning March 10

Throughout the season of Lent, our Sunday Adult Formation class, meeting at 9:00 am between services, will take a deep dive into the Stations of the Cross. Led by Catherine Wieczorek, we will start by engaging in a service through the stations using a unique liturgy that focuses on global justice and reconciliation. Each week, we will take time to look at each station in more depth, discussing both the Biblical context while contemplating the needs of suffering people today. If you haven’t attended Adult Formation before, we hope you will join us and make this study a part of your Lenten journey!

Introduction to Lent with Maggie Dawn ~ Begins March 13
Wednesdays in Lent at 7:15pm including a Light Supper

The season of Lent is an opportunity for life-change, as we are invited to participate in special rituals and activities centered on Christ’s own preparation for death and resurrection. Maggi Dawn knows much about this. She is the author of a book on lent called Giving It Up, and has a special place in her heart for the ways in which lent can transform lives and point them back at God. In this course, Maggi will teach us: Why Commemorate Lent?; Origins of Lent; Themes of Lent Practicing Lent. This is an inspiring introduction to this holy season and is appropriate for those who are new or have spent years commemorating Lent. This series will take place on Wednesday nights following the 6:30pm Eucharist (attendance at the worship service is not mandatory but highly recommended!). We will meet for a light soup and salad dinner at 7:15pm and begin our video presentation and discussion at 7:30. The evening will conclude at 8:15.
